"sweet dreams"

What a busy but great day!

I woke up after a much needed lie in to find cloudless blue skies and sunshine outside!! This was not a day for being inside! Especially on a day when you don't wake up to an alarm clock! haha!

First port of call, my car, Fern was in bad need of some TLC so I took her to the car wash for some pampering! Then it was off to pick up my friend Shawnie for a day out in Camperdown Park at the wildlife centre! First stop was ice cream, before we wandered around the centre in the sunshine, taking in the sights and sounds of animals such as goats, flared trouser wearing roosters, peacocks, tamerins, otters, owls, bears, lemurs, marmasets, wolves, wildcats and my personal favourite, the golden eagles! Although it was still quite sad to see them in captivity, to see their feathers still attached to a living bird and not to a dead one put my project from 4th year into prespective and spurred me on even more to help these stunning creatures in whatever way I can.

A chippy for tea, my first taste of pepsi in over 4 years, as well as my first experience of Vice Versa sweets, whilst watching standard Saturday night TV, made for a lovely ending to a great day! :)
