Now for those of you who still read these blips, you will know that I have a great love affair with this place!

As a reminder, this is Ardverikie House, otherwise known as Glenbogle House from the BBC drama Monarch of the Glen and this was my 3rd visit in just over a year!

But today was a bit different.

Today the grounds around the house were open to the public - the one and only day in the year when you get to walk around the grounds and gardens and see the house from the other side! And here it is!

It was so weird to walk around the garden, peer into the main rooms and walk past the kitchen door - all the places I remember so fondly from the TV show! But yet in reality, this is someone's real home!

Aside from a few rain showers it was such a lovely day! I didn't want to leave! The scenery was just as beautiful as ever and with a beach view like this one, I couldn't help but stop and take a quick snap!

I just love it here!!!! Already planning the next trip for my 25th birthday!

Oh, that's the first time I've said "25th birthday".....he's right. I am getting old! 25!!!!!! OMG!!!!
