Thunder

The day started off overcast and the light rain has turned to the usual mediterannean thunder and lightning.

We needed to refuel the car and get out for a couple of hours so drove to Vathi (the capital of Ithaca (Greek Island)). I stopped at Mprosta Aetos Bay to take a photograph of this lone yacht that had sensibly anchored up - we saw no other boats sailing!

After a cuppa in Stavros on the way back to our villa, we will be staying in tonight and watching tv as it continues to rain. Our home camera shows totally different weather in the UK - we will have to ask for a refund !
