Sunrise Colours

I was up before sunrise to travel up to the mountain village of Exogi (Ithaca) which overlooks our villa below. It was a glorious sunrise with nobody else around in this very small village which has outstanding views over Ithaca, Afales Bay, some Greek islands and mainland Greece.

There's quite a few churches in Exogi but the biggest is this Greek orthodox with lovely blue dome and blue bell tower which contrast nicely with the red tile roofs of the houses and sunrise colours; ideal for this weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge hosted by RockArea with the theme 'contrasting colours'

After getting some fuel and food stuff for tomorrow trip home, we spent most of the day on Polis beach with its crystal clear water a delight to cool off in the 30C heat.
