Poppies

After all yesterday’s drama and a bad night’s sleep, thank goodness today was far more relaxing.
Mr P and I set off at the crack of dawn (well 7am) for Seahouses (Springhill Farm to be exact) for an art course led by one of his favourite artists, Ann Oram. Surprisingly the car seemed to be fine (I suspect that 5 people and lots of luggage may have caused our problem) but I’ve booked it into the garage next week to be on the safe side.
It was a very scenic drive and it felt fresher than Peebles (about 5° less) on arrival, but blue skies and no haar. Our wooden wigwam is better than anticipated and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Mr P went off to his art course and I headed down to Seahouses for a food shop and a walk around the harbour. Back to the wigwam for lunch and then I spent a very relaxing afternoon on the beach, reading my book. I even went for a swim. The water was freezing! By the sounds of it Mr P also thoroughly enjoyed the first day of his course.
