Wildflowers

I was feeling rather sore this morning after all yesterday’s exertions but undeterred I got back on my bike and cycled to Walkerburn and back with Kate and Janet. Lots of lovely flowers like these en route. We enjoyed our tea and scones at the Caberston Cafe. It was all going well until I had a bit of a wobble and accidentally pushed Kate into a nettle patch!
Home briefly and then off to the dentist (all fine). Mr P and I had earmarked this afternoon to get our new veg plants potted up but it started raining so we had to abandon it until tomorrow.
We prepared a meal instead for son no 1 and his girlfriend, who are staying over for a long weekend and coming to Northumberland (dog sit) with us on Sunday. Great to spend time with them.
