Out of retirement

I very briefly came out of retirement to repair a friend’s clock. He had to order a part from the UK, but I was able to fit it and get his charity shop clock working again. I took it round to his house this morning and set it up. I watched the ladies Roland Garros tennis final until it was time to go bell ringing. We had a visitor at the practice and quite a few French people who had come along to watch.
