Home day

Another scorching hot day. I really wanted a day at home to get on top of housework and have a break from the sun. I’m very cautious about us getting burnt and it’s easily done on days like today. S did some painting in the garden before the sun got too hot and I made a meal plan for the week ahead. We rode to sainsburys, the portable self service scanner kept S very entertained as she loved beeping all the items as we walked around. I was pleased to get a weeks worth of shopping loaded onto my bike in the panniers plus S - I think my bike is the best thing I’ve ever bought, it brings me such joy everyday. This evening we went out to the park with Cannon who has started getting sinus pain again in the evenings. I made risotto for dinner and we watched Harry Potter with S (she has more questions than there is dialogue in the film)
