A glorious hot sunny day. S and I had breakfast in the morning sun trap outside the front door on the paving slabs then got the chalk out for some drawing. My mum offered to have S for a few hours so we headed to the farm to meet Cannon, had a chat with some new neighbours and took S to the village, getting some ice creams for the way back. I got some work done this afternoon and spoke to my dad and sister on a video call. I can’t wait to see them in a couple of weeks when they come up for a holiday with little baby P. This evening after dinner I took myself for another walk to the back field, it was very midgey. Cannon is back out mowing now and I’m lying with S whilst she falls asleep listening to The Snowman audiobook.
