My girl
S and I decided to have a day in Cheltenham. She is starting to understand about money and buying herself things she wants so we took her birthday money and made I helped her make a little wish list to help. We got the bus, something she really enjoys and is quite a novelty. There was a continental food market on in Cheltenham with so many nice looking stalls, not the most practical though with S as there was no seating and quite expensive. We went straight to M&S and up to the cafe, they had a great deal on where kids are free if you spent a fiver. S had a cute little lunch box with a ham sandwich, fruit and carton and I had some sandwiches and a ‘magic coffee’ (basically espresso and a very small amount of steamed milk in a small glass cup, very delicious) plus a piece of passion fruit cake. We really enjoyed our lunch and having a table to sit at for S to do her colouring. We had a look in M&S for clothes, S got some new leggings and I found a gorgeous long blue gingham dress in the sale in my size - I’m so pleased with it. We spent a few hours looking around and S was pleased to pick a new dressing gown, jelly sandals, a sticker book and a pop up tent for the garden. It was a really hot day so before we got the bus back we had gelato in front of the fountain. I made a roast chicken for dinner
