Hot Stuff

Another hot, sunny day - with a chilly breeze to catch you out in the shadows. 
I laboured in the vegetable garden this morning - putting up pea-netting, thinning and transplanting kale. I had to make a little fleece tent for the transplants to stop them keeling over in the heat. 

Later we went to Kelso, to buy some essentials - like saucers for under the planters by the door.What happens to plant saucers - they seem to disappear every year. And a bottle of bubbles, because it is Friday. And then  we deserved an ice-cream in the square watching the passing crowd (non-existent). The flowers were in front of the Police Station.
