Colours of Iceland

I've started a Lopi sweater for TM, courtesy of my friend Jo. 

She's had this yarn in her stash, and the pattern, for a long time, and had gone off the idea of knitting it ... so when I mentioned that I was planning to knit one for TM, she gladly handed it on the me. 

It's the old style Alafoss lopi, quite a lot thicker than the yarn I used last year to knit the boys sweaters, so it will be very warm. It looks to me as if it.may come out on the small side, and there's not enough wool to make a larger size ...I may have to wear it myself :-)
