Blip Meet!

What a lovely day we had today with Jan and Keith, Jude and Dave and not to mention the gorgeous Bramble. I felt I’d known them for ages and in a way I have through Blip where we all have a glimpse into each other’s lives.
The main shows them coming back from a wander round town, eating ice creams and looking down at us from the bridge. The first extra is lunch at 
Elsworth Kitchen - highly recommended, then there is Bramble having a whale of a time in the water and wussy Bella standing at the edge having a bit of a paddle. We were worried about Bella not getting on with Bramble but we just let them be for a while then went for a walk in Skipton Woods. They were fine - they didn’t love each other but they got on.

The 3rd extra is of a fiddler playing some English tunes for Frank. He had walked past the boat earlier on and asked Frank if he plays the fiddle and he said yes - but wouldn’t you just know it - the one time he didn’t have it on the boat. Later on the man returned with his and played us some tunes. He was a lovely player.
The last extra is a gift Jan gave me - she does book binding and this is one of her handmade notebooks. She also gave me a lovely Crystal to hang in the window and it is indeed now in the window of the boat :-)

All too soon the day came to an end and our visitors had to leave - we could have chatted all night and it would have been lovely to sit and have beers together. Another time eh?

I haven’t done the poem today so it will be a double dose tomorrow  again.
Off to Airdrie tomorrow!
