WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

At the Car Wash…

…dee dee dee dee dee…
Almost a snap with HarlingDarling!
We went to Aldi this morning and stopped at the Car Wash on the way back. There are about 8 men there each doing a certain stage of the car wash. The last one has an old fashioned mangle and he cleans the windows and then puts his chamois through the mangle.
I’m sure the men - all Asian people - will only be on minimum wage but they do a great job. I wouldn’t like to be soaked all day especially in cold weather, at least now they all had wellies, last time they were in trainers.
I planted a few more things today and moved the carrot seedlings to a plastic window box planter. They would be in the way of the builder when they start. I may have to put some raspberry canes in pots too.

I finished my book - Ring of Roses by Mary Hooper - the 5th book of this year that I’ve read for Love Blippin’ Books -LBB.
It was a story for young teens I think and not very long but beautifully written with emotion and a knowledge of the Plague of 1665. I really enjoyed it.
Tomorrow starts LBB6 and Squatbetty's prompt for June is poetry.

No sleep today! I feel much better just now - could be the sunshine, could be the magnesium supplement, who knows but I like it. I was up at 6 am with Frank. I hope this continues!

Goodnight Blippers ;-) X
