Life Goes On ....

I didn't take this. My co-Grandma sent it. She's helping look after Nico and Hal while Al is up in Yorkshire with her friend V. They have known one another as long as it's possible to know someone, I think - born three days apart in the same hospital, lived in the same village, went to the same schools ... Now V finds herself suddenly widowed, with two school-age sons and a three-month old daughter.  Al has gone up to help, it's what you do, though there is nothing you can do, really. I find myself thinking about V and her children a lot ..... hard days ahead for them.

But N is having a lot of fun with Po-Po. And the rest of the family are on holiday. The Burley Bunch are on an island in Argyllshire, where the weather is stunning. The Kingston Crew are camping in Dorset. Both say they are being devoured by midges.
