Kelvinside

Sunny if still cool. We parked the car up by Kelvingrove Park and had a wonderful walk down Kelvinside as far as the steps up to the Botanic Gardens. Everything bright and lush and blazingly green in the sunshine.   Walking back along the path we stopped to enjoy the penguins on the bridge by the river,   There were twenty or thirty little groupings hidden in niches on the bridge, sometimes working with the rock they’d landed on and sometimes just co existing.  I’ve posted this one as it was one of the few I took in landscape and I don’t enjoy portrait on blip so much. My favourite was a child penguin whose balloon had floated away… so expressive.   Obviously i googled them and they are quite a thing and have been seen as far away as Edinburg.

Lunch in Ox and Finch.  Superb food absolutely delicious.  After lunch we went back to the hotel and then attempted to take Woody for a wander round the Merchant City but he has been a country dog for so long now that he hates the urban pavements and got incredibly stressed so we went back into the hotel and read the papers.

Manage to force down a light dinner at Eusebi.  Well mine was light, Vikram had Yesterday’s Lasagne….
