Mrs in the pool

We were up at 7.00am to dig up some rich soil from the top of the garden, throw it in the trailer, and bring it over to the new raised beds. The weather is too hot to do such strenuous work in the heat of the day but it is cool enough to do it in the morning. Afterwards, we had breakfast in the cottage garden.  Afternoon we went to Jardi Leclerc and bought some gravel for the walkway around the new raised beds. Then we planted up tomatoes, lettuce/salad leaves and beetroot and Naomi heroically braved the 24c pool (pic).  Dinner comprised herby chicken and veggies accompanied by a petillant Gaillac rosé.
