Channelling the (very aged) rock chick

I had a great time at Linda’s impromptu party/wake for Tina. We had a drink and dance and played our favourites on the screen via YouTube. Sara and I were the only ones who’d seen her live, she in Gateshead a few days before me in Ipswich. Sara was only 20 whereas I was 43. I did my best with the outfit - sadly the wardrobe had no sparkly minidresses. Just as well me thinks. Mr C didn’t come as his ears weren’t up to it.

Today I’ve cooked and put stuff in the freezer for Bev and Tim’s visit next week. I also made a mushroom and spinach lasagne for #3 daughter and Luke who are staying the night. All four grandchildren are going to scout/cub camp. #2 daughter has decided not to come to till tomorrow as she has a cold so wants to do another Covid test in the morning.

Thank you for your sympathy re the Proclaimers tickets. I have been so stressed about it but this afternoon I walked over to see friend Phil again and this time he’s managed to get them. It’s a QR code on my phone.
