Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Last Day!

Last day, sailing down past the Dardanelles on one side, and the remains of Troy on the other side. Our two eminent on board speakers each gave a commentary. Though Anzac Cove is on the other side of the peninsula.

Packing up, printing out boarding passes, attending two lectures today, and having a wee snooze. We have to be off the ship by 8am tomorrow, which is not unusual, as many of our tours have been early starts. Apparently the afternoon flyers are going on a bus tour tour of Athens before being deposited at the airport. Last lunch today, and I was disappointed to find, at the hot pudding section, it wasn't Turkish rice pudding.

So just a wee selection - bottom right is a photo of a photo that the  'professional' photographer took at the concert, (as a gift from the cruise company). I had to straighten it up, (but it’s still squint).

The good news is that our local gym and swimming pool is open again, after a very long time.

Off to pack up now...
