Blackbird

This blackbird followed us around all morning - sometimes one of its young would seek his attention but he wasn’t having any of it . He was quite daring in his endeavours to obtain the juiciest worms from newly dug clods ! I just fear for him as we have a cat and our neighbour’s cat is very keen on hunting ! :(
