A Night Out On The Town

We had yet another fun day even though there was a drizzling rain all morning. I used the indoor time to make my “housemates” a large ham, broccoli, etc breakfast casserole. They sampled it for lunch and it passed muster. Hubby helped our BIL repair a sheet of loose tin on the barn roof. It will be completely replaced in July. My sister scouted the wild turkey population. With so many coyotes, we always hope there is a large enough population of males and females that survive to adulthood. Sugar and I read, prayed, napped and read some more until it was time to make dinner. We left as soon as the kitchen was clean to come to town. We love how they honor vets along the streets. We are always looking for fun things to do when we are at the farm. My sister’s favorite bluegrass band is Crandall Creek. They are playing here in the Strand Theater (see above) in Moundsville later this evening. Her birthday is Tuesday so we are celebrating early. The band in the collage is opening the concert. Hope you are able to experience some great memory making activities this weekend. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe. “I like for it to be mountain music or old-time country music or traditional bluegrass. Either one will fit me. It's traditional, basically.” - Ralph Stanley
