By chance I discovered that Saturday night will be a great night to see the Milky Way. I discovered that there is a dark sky park only an hour away. The Milky Way will be out as early as 10:30 pm! BUT there will probably be cloud cover all night.

Today is Vyshyvanka Day in Ukraine. The vyshyvanka is an elaborately embroidered shirt or dress traditionally worn in Ukraine. It was suggested by a student in 2006.

A train derailed in Crimea. Russia is blaming "outsiders."
