Resting

After 4 days of walks, I decided on a restful day today - starting with getting some photos of the butterflies which frequently the grassy bank along the track leading to our cottage. Every morning I’ve seen them on the ivy and thought they looked too dark for Holly Blues, but getting a closer look, I could see the chequered fringe on the forewing. There were also Red Admirals, Orange Tips and Speckled Woods. The rest of the day, I spent relaxing in the garden and reading.
