A nice spot for lunch

It was a windy walk today, but we found much more shelter when we entered the forest and when we returned through the valley. It was a 580 metre climb to the Cortal de Pindeda but nothing, particularly difficult, 10 kilometres in total. The mountain wildflowers and butterflies are appearing and we were accompanied by bird song a lot of the way. The whole walk only took four hours so I was back in time to do some jobs in the afternoon before a meeting with tennis friends to see if we can put a men’s team into competitions next year.
