Ready to eat

I only planted out the lettuces three weeks ago, but they are already ready to eat. I think I will end up looking like a lettuce as they all have to be eaten before we go away towards the end of June. I did the market shopping this morning and had a good tennis lesson before French conversation. I had to lead it today as Daniel was too busy doing reports for the local paper. He is our unpaid village correspondent..
