Who he?
Went for a lunchtime walk round Bedford Square in bright sunshine slightly tempered by a chilly breeze. It was a lovely thing to do and the monochrome square looked calm and austere in the light. I always read a blue plaque and i looked at this and wondered how I didn’t know a 20th century novelist. I looked him up and most of his books have vanished but he did write The Prisoner of Zenda which I have read and which I still have a childhood edition of. Thumbs up back through the years to Anthony Hope.
The rest of the day was busy in the office. Everyone was in and we got a lot done. I did a pitch meeting on The Valley, my Middle Eastern show, with a French broadcaster who seem keen to be involved.
Dinner early at Kettners with Seth so home around 9.45.
