A long day cycling, but we eventually found this evening's accommodation and somewhere to eat. 
The main is Castle Acre, which is an impressive ruin spanning hundreds of years. 
Extra 1: On leaving our accommodation this morning, we had to collect our bikes from an outbuilding which used to be part of a mortuary. Its present owners have humorously hung a skeleton. I did check to make sure it was only plastic.
Extra 2: Yes ducklings again, but these were about 60kms distant from yesterday's, so can't be the same ones.
We've had two small deer run out in front of us today, the second one with a panicy clatter of hooves and emergency application of brakes. Luckily no injury.
