Fitting It In

Yesterday was eye injection day at the Helston Surgery which is where I took the photo shown today. I suspect the lady in the painting is painted so as to look like a Flora Day Dancer.
The follow on from injection proved to be particularly painful, my eye streamed all through the afternoon and early evening and I felt as though I had been five rounds with Mike Tyson.

I felt marginally better this morning although my appearance meant I went without the Reserve Forces Employment Networking Breakfast at the Greenbank Hotel, no point in frightening everyone. Instead I downloaded the thirty-five page Fire Risk Assessment template which requires compiling for the rugby club and made a start on it, it is going to be a Labour of love.
The clubs barista coffee machine was also service which got me an invitation the the company premises for some freebie training and some coffee tasting - never a bad thing.

At 4:00pm I had a Commonwealth War Graves Commission Zoom Meeting to ready us for the Pop Up Week next week.

At 6:00pm I met friend Steve for a couple of beers and a quick catch up.

At 7:00 pm it was the Penryn Mayor Making Ceremony.

8:15 pm, scampi & chips from the chippy for Mrs S and I to share as a dinner.

I was supposed to be slowing down this year!!
