An enjoyable chat and coffee in Zeffirellis with blipper ‘wrencottage’ who is on holiday in the area. Thanks C for a lovely morning and the well chosen selection of your beautiful cards.

In the afternoon I went into the garden to tie my prickly globe thistle to a stake before it gets any bigger. That led to some weeding, restocking the bird feeders and raking more moss out of the lawn.

It was an early evening walk again, from Waterhead where there was one parking space empty. Beside the road to Jenkins Field and along the shore to the rocky mound with trees on that’s in the photo. Mrs Mallard and her 6 ducklings were swimming alongside.

Two views to the Langdale Fells in the extra and an attempt at circular creativity.
