Reflections in the River Brathay.


A damp morning. I decided to shop in Windermere to restock my fridge and fruit bowl.

Soon after I returned from yesterday evening’s blip walk the house phone rang. It was an invitation to coffee at the garden centre this afternoon. I accepted.

I intended to take some phone shots there to use as a blip but forgot so after tea I drove to Skelwith Bridge and walked along to Elter Water. Just as far as the viewpoint across the lake (top left in the extra). On the way back I noticed some pink/purple flowers near the river. I can’t find them in either of my wild flower books. Can anyone help with identification.
