Summers here...if only for a short while!

eventually got to bed way after midnight, after watching the victorious Carl Froch fight!

woke at 7am, and needed at least another half hour. gave Pete his breakfast, and back for a lay in til nearly 8am.

sausage sarnie, coffee outside in the sunshine. didn't expect 2 days of sunshine, so this is a bonus.

went to Watnall Wood with mum and Pete in the car. Very beautiful and very peaceful up there. Pete gorged on some cow poo (i knew he'd see that later, and so would i!!). lovely walk for about an hour or so. Took this pic on the path towards the wood - love the shape of the oak tree.

Back home, and enough time for a spot of gardening...well, weeding.

out for tea later, with li and Matt to the Nuthall. lovely meal, and vino, and i'm stuffed still!

home, lazy evening and anticipating an early start as off to London with Liv tomorrow, we will be armed with our cameras!
