Double celebration

Today was this little man’s 2nd birthday.  Our planned bbq and garden frivolities were a bit of a washout but a great time was had nevertheless.

The tidying up continued before everyone arrived so we missed the build up to the coronation but we watched the beginning and then it was grabbing bits of it here and there as people arrived.

I was gutted that the weather was so wet and miserable as most of Os pressies were for the garden.  Our playhouse, Lucy bought him a balance bike and Josh a little slide (all for our garden lol).  Although O had great fun on the slide indoors :-D. They did pop outside for a little while to play and he seemed to like the house.

Adam, Rebecca’s boyfriend, brought his little boy B who, understandably, was very shy.  B has met O a couple of times when Rebecca has been looking after him and O loves him always wanting to play with him and hold his hand.  B started to come out his shell just as it was time to go. Bless him.

Despite the weather we all had a great day celebrating both occasions.
