Errwood Reservoir

So, plan A was to go along to 'Sounds Of The Other City', but I chatted with Yoss yesterday and he said there was nothing really worth seeing, and, in the end, eighty quid for a pair of tickets seemed a stretch, even though I like to support Salford.

Plan B was the 'Hip Hop and Street Culture' weekend in Ancoats, which the Minx was keen on, and in which I was interested. But it was pouring down outside, and so the idea of strolling across was suddenly a lot less attractive.

In the end, then, we went out for a drive, with the idea that we'd find a pub for Sunday lunch. But each one we tried was packed and fully booked, so in the end we stopped at a Co-op, fashioned a picnic, and simply enjoyed our drive out.

I will take the weather as an excuse for today's lacklustre photo of Errwood Reservoir. It would be nice to do this drive on a sunny day, though, so perhaps there will be another opportunity!
