Two family friends came round this afternoon for May Day hot cross buns (frozen Easter leftovers); wanted to try and do something to make today different to any other Monday for Dad and I. Apart from that it’s been a quiet weary day for both of us...

Thank you for your kind stars and hearts for yesterday’s mushrooms. Apparently they are edible and are a highly sort after speciality in the Basque region. However, I won’t be sampling them!
