Purple Petunia.......

............in one of my hanging baskets. I usually have baskets containing mixed flowers but I left things rather late this year as the weather has not been the best!!!!! So ended up with ones with just petunias - wasn't sure but am delighted with them. Have given them a liquid feed every week and they are sure repaying me - the flowers are really big!

Well, my plans for the rest of the day have gone out of the window! I was planning to visit an Open Garden that I've wanted to see for a while only to find the Open Garden is not open! Which is why you have this petunia!! - it is as it came out of the camera except for a bit of a crop.

Weather is sunny and very pleasant at the moment - temperature highest we've had so far this year at 14 deg. C. and it is still only 11.00a.m.
