Holy Austin Cave, Kinver Edge

These Caves were lived in up until 1950, they have been restored by the National Trust and we visited today. They are amazing places and felt quite homely. I chatted to the Lady who was a volunteer, she lived in Kinver and told me there were actually many caves in the area that people lived it and many of the older houses have caves in their back gardens, which apparently make for great storage!

We continued up the hill and walked along Kinver Edge and I was very pleased to hear the Cuckoo calling, the only time this year I have heard it.
