Up to the suburb of Vomero on the funicular for a wander and a vist to Castel Sant'Elmo and the Certosa e Museo di San Martino, with a fantastic pizza stop in between the two - a place opposite this derelict bar/restaurant with views to die for over over Naples, quite why it's not booming I have no idea.

Walked down the Pedamentina a San Martino steps to reach the bustle of the historic centre and in particular the delights of Spaccanapoli, I think everyone in the city had left their apartments to be on that particular street there this afternoon and the place was completely awash with blue and white as far as the eye could see. We had a stop or two for drinks, we took it all in, we embraced the anticipation of a possible league title win for Napoli tomorrow afternoon. It's going to be one heck of a party when it happens for sure.
