2023 Wednesday -- Lake Oroville, CA

Our pastor, Jack Hibbs, put the two photos of of Lake Oroville in his social media today. His words explained it well, "The experts said if California would experience drought relief , it would take 9 to 11 years to recover. But then God decided to do it in just one winter and spring. This is Lake Oroville in Northern California -- it is still rising and it's about to receive the snow melt from the Sierra Nevadas." God can do whatever He wants. AND He did with California's drought.

Wednesday evening worship at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills this evening was very very good. Pastor Jack's message was down to earth and very understandable. When we are in Cayucos, where we are tonight, we livestream in order to watch and participate. We are so glad we did. 

Our day, this Wednesday, was quiet and relaxed after a busy day yesterday preparing for friends to come here for dinner. I did work today through my study questions for tomorrow mornings BSF group. This week our study is in the teeny-tiny Old Testament book of Habukkuk. 

It was foggy all day today in Cayucos. We could not even see the ocean.
