Congratulations!

Since I was a pre-teen, her songs have been among my favorites. Then when I was a teen, her voice began to accompany her songs and the combo was dynamic. I am so thrilled that she was awarded this honor. She is deserving.

Carole King was presented with the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song at the White House a couple nights ago by President Obama, who called the singer-songwriter a "living legend." AND SHE IS!
