Scott Smith

This is our good friend, Scott. Tonight the band "Redwood" played at Java Joe's in Yorba Linda. These guys have been a band since they were all young kids. They get together once or twice a year when several members who now live out-of-town all come together in southern California's Orange County.

This evening while the band took a short break, Scott entertained all of us. Scott is the founder, leader, organizer of an every Tuesday evening "Open Mic Nite" at Java Joe's. A fabulous gathering of musicians play every week, and even though we don't get to attend very often, we'd be there every week if we could. It's about 20 miles from our home.

Scott and his wife Peggy both have been blippers in the past.

This evening I took a break from the end of the semester grading to play for a few hours. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Now for the remainder of the weekend, I'll be grading student essays.
