Well hello Mr Sunshine

We're back in St Ives. Yay! Horrendous journey from Derbyshire to Cornwall. It took us more than 7 hours. Grrrr...... Though now we're here, all Ann's anger at the miles & miles & miles of orange cones (for no apparent reason) has melted in oblivion! …..........And tbh, the journey normally takes 6 hours, so what's an hour more in the big scheme of things?


Our last stop was at Taunton which is 2.5 hours away from St Ives and it was mizzly, drizzly & foggy. Ann messaged a friend and said, 'Where is Mr Sunshine?' Friend sent a photo of her garden and said, 'Here'. …...................And she was right.


When we arrived back in St Ives, Mr Sunshine was out in full force. He was shining brighly so Ann didn't even need to put a coat on when she took me for a play in the field.


As those of you who read our BLIPS regularly will know; we rent out our house when we're not here, but keep all our personal stuff locked away in one of the bedrooms. Ann always likes to keep a couple of bottles of wine in there so that as soon as she returns, she can stick them in the freezer and they're ready to drink almost right away. #organisedhuman She also leaves me some dog food so she doesn't have to worry about that for a few days. #caringcolliepupowner


Anyway, today as soon as we arrived, I went for a play in the field (which is right next to our house) and then once Ann had unloaded everything from the car, we sat on our very sunny sun terrace. Ann absolutely loves her house in St Ives. She loves her flat & her life in Edinburgh too, but she loves this house more.


BUT............................ guess what was in our 'locked room'?.................. as well as Ann's stash of wine a brand new tennis ball. Yay! A visiting doggie must have left it. Well, Ann's not going to bother contacting everyone who has stayed since the last time we were here, so she says I can keep it. How fabulous is that?


…...............And now the sun has gone in so we've come indoors. My human has been super organised and we have a big Asda delivery arriving anytime soon. Apparently Ann has ordered me a whole bag of carrots. Yum!


Here's hoping our weather app is correct and Mr Sunshine hangs around for the rest of the week!!!


We're really looking forward to 3 months in St Ives........................
