Jack & Gabby and a Cornish manky ball – Find no. 3

First thing this morning I went for my walk along the beach and just look what I found. Another manky old ball. Yay! This one was particularly manky, but the mankier the better as far as I'm concerned, so I carried it all the way home and put it onto the sun terrace so that I could play with it later.

And then when I was having my morning snooze, look who came to see us...................... Ann's nephew, Jack and his girlfriend, Gabby. They are spending the weekend near Newquay and so Jack obviously wanted to come to see his favourite Auntie and favourite little Collie pup!!!

They took me for ever such a nice walk. We went along the lane and then down onto the coastal path, along the beach and then round the town. And they even found the 'green door'. Actually they didn't find it; Ann showed them where it was on the way home. The 'green door' is very famous in St Ives. It's hundreds of years old and visitors come to town especially to look for it and be photographed with it.

When we got home the humans had pasties on the sun terrace. We'd like to say that Ann gave them pasties because she thought it would be a nice Cornish lunch for them....................... But that would be lying! It was the easy option. Lol! Jack's vegan and Gabby's vegetarian what is it with kids these days that makes them shun a tasty bacon sandwich?! and apart from offering them a salad sandwich with no butter, Ann doesn't have a clue how to feed a vegan. Anyway I lay next to them because I thought I might get a little titbit. I've never actually had a vegan pasty before but unfortunately Jack fed all his pasty into his tummy. Boohooo. Jack said it was very tasty.

Once Jack & Gabby had left, Ann caught up on a bit of TV and I had another snooze. Went for a little play in the field and now it's almost time for my dinner.

So that's been our Easter Sunday and do you know what?.................. I've just realised that nobody has given me any Easter Eggs today. Boooohoooo.
