One Lone Puffin

Gales blowing this morning, dull and rain.  Rains stopped in the late morning, with a sunny afternoon and evening.  Calmer too.

Up early, and popped by mam's on my way to work.  On B shift today.  The day started on the check-in desk, then moved to meeting and boarding flights.  All flights in and out on time.  Walkies with Sammy, and bumped into friend Julie with niece Abbey.  Feet up with the telly now.

I finished at 7pm, and thought it was a good time to catch some puffins come in for the evening, no such luck, they must have been out fishing late with the fine night.  I did finally see one lone puffin perched on the cliff.  There has been plenty of sightings this past week, so good to have the puffins home.  Note to self, remember to put my right camera in my car! Taken at Sumburgh Head.
