Why not?

Easter Monday.  Started with BP which was more crowded than usual.  Home for shower while OH changed the bed and pushed the hoover round. He is a good egg and always helps (maybe because he felt a tad guilty about another day at football).  He met No.2 for greasy spoon breakfast while I called into MIL with new clothes horse and shopping lists.  She was grateful and I put some washing on the new clothes horse for her.

I had planned a trip to BW for retail therapy but OH phoned to say the traffic on A2 was awful.  I hesitated but thought what the heck, as I had nothing else planned so decided to go anyway.  It was ok when I got there and I wandered and bought some ridiculously expensive face serum and a new pair of boots.

Home to make dinner and a G&T and a few chapters of my book before OH got home.  Easter weekend done but not as I would do it next time.   It was originally the week before the wedding (now re- arranged) so I hadn’t planned anything as we thought we would be busy with wedding prep.  However Note to self: next year,  book something (not football or golf), family meals, weekend away maybe?
