Long Day

JC took No.1 to the RM and it was a very long day.  She arrived around 8.00 and we didn't leave until 3.30.  Waiting for blood, results, consultant, pharmacy.......... but the results meant that she could have round 3 of treatment (I hesitate to type 'good news' but at least it's not delayed again). Silly situation in that they didn't have the correct dose of medication which necessitates in her taking 8 tablets to make up the right dose - hopefully will get some more supplies in soon.

We decided next time we would take a picnic (hopefully weather will be warmer) and disappear off to a park or NT while waiting for the prescription rather than just hanging around.  Not sure why there were such delays; doctor's strike, brexit, weather, bank holiday or just too many sick people and not enough staff?

However we made the best of it, she was still smiling and I stayed for dinner with No.1 and JC.  Day one, cycle three done.

The picture is of Anemone Blanda which were growing in the garden surrounding Maggies.  I remember drifts of these lovely flowers in the LC Woodland garden, always a popular picture spot with Mums letting their children sit amongst the flowers for that perfect Insta picture.
