Lambs Enjoy Sunshine
A horrible wet, grey, misty and windy morning. After lunch, the rains stopped, the skies cleared, and the sun came out. A fine evening, calmer and sunny spells.
Up at 5am, and early shift in the airport. A mix of check-in desk and meeting and boarding flights. First flight was fine, then Edinburgh was cancelled due to tech issues, with a few delays later on in the day. Popped by Laura's for a cuppa on my way home. A quiet evening at home, trying to finish watching the Walking Dead. Walkies with Sammy, then an early night.
I took a slight detour on my way home, as the sun was shining and wanted to enjoy it. With spring in the air, the spring animals are starting to appear. I've seen various bumblebees buzzing about this past week, a hedgehog on my street this evening, and then there's the lambs. Most lambs across Shetland are due the end of April, but various ones are early, like this two peerie guys. After a morning of rain, they were enjoying soaking up some sunshine this afternoon. Taken at Netherton, Levenwick.
