April Snow

Woke up to snow this morning, a chilly breeze all day, clouds and sunny spells.  A lovely calm night.

Up early, and popped by Laura's for a cuppa on my way to work.  Late shift in the airport today, and a busy day of passengers.  A couple of minor delays, Inverness got cancelled, but overall a good day.  Walkies with Sammy around Scalloway, now feet up by the fire. 

Gosh, this past week has been cold, and doesn't seem to want to warm any.  This morning a fine layer of snow covered the ground, giving it that winter look.  The snow didn't last long, and there was no snow from Cunningsburgh to Sumburgh.  Just hope this chilly nights don't damage my budding plants.  Looking out from our garden, down to New Street, Scalloway.
