Wilco In Iceland - Night 2
As predicted it was high gales (50 kph) and rain today, so the day was spent indoors, where possible. First off for breakfast, waffles, bacon and maple syrup. Then down the road to The Settlement Exhibition for a few hours about the history of Reykjavik. They actually built the museum over the first known settlement here discovered in 2001, now preserved in situ - 10th century. Then we scooted up the hill to the Perlan, another exhibition about all of Iceland. Ms H is busy preparing her ice throne.
Then returned via fish and chips for our 2nd Wilco in Iceland night at the Harpa. Tonight we were sitting in the upper balcony and the sound is even great up there too. Tonight Anthony from Scotland was awarded the best behaved audince member and was presented with a trophy. Post show, Ms H. met us for a few beers before bedtime.
One more full day to go :-(
