Spring Anniversary

The sloe (blackthorn) blossom is looking beautiful and plentiful. Here it is along with a willow filled with catkins. Merlin and I sat in the sunshine looking at this spring scene, listening to a song thrush calling from nearby. It was absolutely delightful.

It was five years ago today that we collected Merlin from Wiltshire and brought him to live with us in West Sussex. I hope he’s happy we chose to bring him home and into our lives.
