Back to the bike trail

After a slow start, the temperatures finally warmed up by early afternoon, and after Roger had got back from a lunch out, we set off for the Little Miami bike trail at Mathers Mill. The parking area is right by the river, and after all the rain we’ve had lately, the river was flowing very fast. By this time it was a beautiful afternoon, and we had a good ride, though we had a head wind coming back and I was struggling a bit! Along the trail you could see the signs of our recent storms, in the way of twigs and tree debris, and dried mud. There were larger branches down at the side of the trail from time to time, and a number of the farmers fields had huge puddles in places. However there were also lots of wild flowers along the trail, providing me with a number of shots.
